I definitely turned a quick dinner at Delmonico’s with my girl in Philly, into a photo shoot lol! Sidebar: I decided to become a vegetarian and if you know me, you know how ridiculous that sounds, I love me some steak =/ I just feel unhealthy lately and Oprah had a show about it, and well Oprah can convince me to do anything lol! So i’m going to give it a try.
I also wanted to ask you other fashion bloggers out there if anyone ever misinterprets your expression of style and love of fashion as an art to mean that you are “materialistic”? I’ve gotten some, lets just say “hate mail”, saying that all I care about are expensive shoes and bags. I just wanted to clear something up, I worship God, not money, and definitely not shoes. This is an innocent hobby, and given the disturbing events in my recent past, it is a much needed outlet for me.
Also, anyone that really knows me can tell you that I own just as many, if not more, Target and H&M; as I do luxury items, and I in NO way am using this blog to “show off” as my critics so eloquently put it =)
There will always be someone prettier, smarter, more talented, more successful, with longer hair, and a bigger bank account, and even if you have someone beat in all of those areas, they can still “win.” Which is why I do not compete, and I, in no way, am trying to be better than anyone, ever. I can only be me, and if you dislike me or my outfits or my life, feel free to no longer check this page, and I will say a prayer for you =) God Bless!
And to my supporters and friends…love you <33

These are the shoes that inspired the name for this blog…meet the original Strawberry Stiletto. It’s a nickname I gave to all of my “red bottoms,” and I am absolutely in love with this pair.
You will probably see a lot more of this style outfit from me….very simple (white t-shirt and jeans) with statement accessories (exaggerated jewelry/scarves/shoes/bags). I would say it is my signature style!

P.S Thank you to everyone that has been viewing and commenting on my blog, I really appreciate all the support and I’m starting to have fun =)

Something about the sunlight in my living room is so peaceful and beautiful, no wonder my puppy loves taking naps in there!
These are probably the shoes I wear the most. I like to pretend they go with everything, although sometimes I reallyyy wish the hardware on them was gold, but I don’t wanna hurt their feelings =)
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised -Proverbs 31:30

After I put these boots on today, I was instantly in a better mood. And then I realized that almost all my boots and pumps are suede. Im not sure what that means, but i’ll take it haha.

I hope you all look for the simple things to change your day around =) God Bless.

The freezinggggg air outside makes me even more grateful to have a warm home, with a warm bed, and a family that I can sometimes stand =) LOL

Being grateful is an emotion that exhibits warmth, so when’s a better time to practice this than when you feel like your fingertips have frost bite?
